Event Details

We all know that our web sites and applications should be user-focused, but it can be difficult to convince our employers and clients to budget the money and time. When we do convince them, it's not always obvious where to begin. With a growing array of tools and techniques available, it's all too easy to narrow our focus and lose sight of the bigger picture.

Andy Budd, User Experience Director at Clearleft, will be offering his insights these issues and more in an evening of  conversation with the London Web Standards community.

If you have any questions about how to get started in UX or about UX in general, please submit your questions online (the survey is now closed).

The first 10 people to submit an interesting question will receive a guaranteed ticket to the event.

In addition, one lucky submitter will receive a ticket (worth £125) to dConstruct, Clearleft's always-excellent conference of ideas.

London Web Standards

London Web Standards brings together web professionals who are working for a better web. Our monthly meetups provide them with an opportunity to teach, inspire, learn, network and debate.

Each meetup features a speaker drawn from our membership or the wider standards community. The talks cover a range of topics including HTML5, JavaScript, YQL, accessibility, web fonts, UX and front-end performance.

Come along, drink some beer (or your beverage of choice) and exchange ideas with other web developers, designers and professionals who are as passionate about the web as you are.
